Google Ad Grants Agency Pilot Program Underway

Over the past few months or so, Google has been working with a dozen or so advertising agencies that focus most of their work with non-profit companies and the Google Grants program. This program gives some non-profits free advertising budgets on the Google AdWords platform to reach more contributors to their organization.

Google gives some of these organizations $10,000 USD of in-kind advertising every month.

As you’d imagine, there are specific agencies that focus just on ensuring non-profits are eligible and remain eligible for the program based on the AdWords performance. There are details on how to be and stay eligible over here.

In any event, sometime back in February, Google began working on a pilot with a dozen or so third-party agencies to better understand how these agencies work within the Google Grants program. Michelle from Google said in a thread that two people on her team are working on it. She added:

Hi, we’ve been piloting with a dozen agencies to understand how we can partner well and design a future program. We’ll have a wider announcement within a month!

So something is coming soon around an agency program for the Google Grants platform.
