Google is actively reaching out, asking webmasters and SEOs what they use the internal link report in Google Search Console for. This is Google trying to think how they can improve and build out a more productive, efficient and more useful link report tool in the new beta Google Search Console. It can also mean that if they do not get enough solid feedback, they may decide not to migrate that report.
So if you want the report, make sure to provide feedback. How do you provide feedback, you do so on Twitter.

Here are the responses thus far:
- To see how Google see how I link stuff in my site?
- Seeing Google’s crawl perspective about the importance of URLs based on how many internal links they receive
- Sculpting pagerank and seeing what pages such as privacy policy/terms and conditions dont need as much weight. Monitoring my internal architecture to see which pages could have more internal link
- Have used it to see what pages of my website are linked to what pages of my website.
- Check where all my link juice is being stored
- To check if a specific page is linked internally? (before full-checking with a crawler)
- Internal links report? Is that still going on? :> But seriously, that should be improved to help webmasters tweak their site’s architecture.
