
Folks were asking John Mueller about Google adding the ability to add a link to Google Search Console in the Google menu, the 9 dots at the top right of any Google page. The truth is, you can do that now. The only weird thing is that Google still calls it “Webmaster Tools” in that menu and not the new name from years ago, “Search Console.”
To add Search Console to the menu, first go to Google Search Console and then click on the menu box at the top right and there will be the ability to add a shortcut to “Webmaster Tools” – should be “Search Console” at the bottom:
After you do that, it is now part of your Google menu bar on the Google home page and other Google pages:
This is not a new feature but something many folks do not know about.
