Google seems to have dropped some the addresses from Google My Business listings for service area businesses. It seems like some businesses that set a service area in their accounts would see their addresses disappear from the Google My Business console.
A thread at Local Search Forums spotted this and they posted some screen shots:
I personally do not have any Google My Business listings using the service area feature, so I cannot replicate this. But some think it has to do with a change in the guidelines where Google wrote:
Note: You can no longer set your service area as a distance around your business. If you previously entered a distance around your business, you won’t be able to edit it. Instead, you’ll need to specify your service area by region, city, or ZIP code.
So if your address goes missing in this case, you are not alone.
