Fresh out of the snippets team meeting, Google is testing bolding the URL and/or breadcrumbs in the search result snippets. I doubt the meeting is related to the test, but heck. Either way, Google is constantly testing this type of stuff, I just find it surprising they would test bolding the URL/breadcrumb section. - Google Tests Multifaceted Featured Snippets In Desktop Results Again
Google confirmed with Search Engine Land the other day that they are experimenting with showing multifaceted featured snippets on desktop search, it was rolled out for mobile search some time ago. A couple weeks ago we saw some people seeing it and now more are seeing it also. I personally still cannot replicate it. - Google Team Meets Regarding SEO Feedback On Display Of Snippets & Search Results
A couple weeks ago Danny Sullivan from Google asked SEOs about providing feedback on how Google shows the search results, the snippets, links, structured data, etc. Now he shared a photo of a large meeting with that team reviewing all that feedback. Today on the Google home page in the United States is a Doodle to remember and honor the life of Amanda Crowe, the artist. Amanda was a woodcarver and educator from Cherokee, North Carolina who was an Eastern Band Cherokee.
