Some folks are noticing Google serving two flavors of their AMP URLs to users. One is your normal AMP URL and the other is the AMP URL with usqp=mq331AQCCAE= appended to the end of the URL. Google’s Malte Ubl said on Twitter that this second URL is how Google triggers an experiment for more advanced transformations on the AMP cache. This specifically references the twice as fast AMP pages they are testing now.
I personally see it coming up in my analytics. Here is a screen shot from later last night showing the usqp=mq331AQCCAE= added to some of the AMP URLs:
Yep, this triggers an experiment for more advanced transformations on the AMP cache.

Yep. It is an AB test. Specifically for a part of the “twice as fast” that this article here refers to https://t.co/Ale82EisnC
