Google’s Weird Looking French Search Results

As you know, Google had to remove the full snippets from many Google France search results pages. So Google might just show a brief title and then a URL. But the description snippet portion for many sites is gone. It looks weird and Google knows it, they’ve been testing it and communicating about it. Google added new snippet controls to try to help and sent out notifications to warn some publishers who may be impacted by this.

What does it look like in Google France? Well Reda Dehhane posted a screen shot on Twitter:

I wonder how long this will last until Google and the French work something out?
