Google may be testing (or it might be a bug) removing reviews from the local knowledge panel in the search results. It seems so weird that I am thinking this is a weird bug, but who knows. Darcy Burk posted this on Twitter with screen shots showing the reviews missing.
Here are screen shots where Darcy showed both on desktop and mobile where the local knowledge panel is missing the reviews stars summary:
But the listing does have reviews, I see it for my searches as well:
In 2016 Google also tested removing reviews from the local pack.
But this feels like more of a bug or something weird with the browser than a real Google test?
